Leonardo da Vinci : 500 Years Too Soon

I see now that man needs something more than strength to propel himself through the air.

It’s quite easy to forget that history’s greatest minds were just people like the rest of us. Leonardo da Vinci is a legendary figure in human history, but directly behind his myriad works is a man with an insatiable thirst for knowledge and invention. The above comic does a great job of humanizing da Vinci, and it shows him pursuing human flight with a child-like fascination and tenacity. In addition, it also shows how his contemporaries responded to him during his pursuits.
